Customer Care Representative

Vesco Medical is looking for professionals to represent our company in our Customer Care department.  The candidate will be on the front-line with customers making outbound calls to introduce our company and products, answering questions and problem solving.  Customer Care Representatives will also receive and process orders, inquiries and sample requests.   We encourage our employees to make recommendations and execute solutions to ensure the customer is satisfied with the experience and the contact with our company. This temporary position can lead to permanent employment.  Vesco Medical is located in the Short North area near downtown Columbus.   Our office hours are 8am to 6pm with flexible work times in a casual work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage both inbound and outbound customer communications.
  • Generating outbound calls introducing potential customers to the new medical device company and their products.
  • Appropriately represent our company and embody the core values of the company with each and every warm, friendly informative and purposeful customer interaction.
  • Ensure registration for new accounts are complete and ready for order processing within 3 business days.
  • Place orders timely and appropriately.
  • Communicate the delivery schedule to the customer to assure product delivery in accordance with customer requirements. 
  • Timely respond to inquiries for customer orders, product inquiries and satisfaction issues same day or no later than next business day.
  • Answer phones, takes product orders and when necessary, communicate resolution back to customer.   
  • Investigate problems and provide remedies related to any customer issues same day or no later than next business day. 
  • Interface with and support company sales representatives.
  • Answer questions of products and provide product data per requests. 
  • Support marketing and sales initiatives and programs.
  • Communicate with distribution, when necessary, to determine deliveries for customer satisfaction.
  • Process any complaint handling and notification to management of said issue.

Requirements:

  • Professional telephone and communication skills are required and candidates must speak clearly, decisively and accurately. 
  • Must have experience working in a busy team environment that had multi-tasking requirements on software systems.
  • Candidates must be computer literate and proficient with software, including Microsoft products (word, excel, power point) along with Magento ordering systems and SalesForce.com are strongly desired.
  • Experience in conflict resolution from the perspective of solving customer order related issues required.
  • Experience entering customer orders into a business software system strongly preferred.
  • Experience in medical device or health care related field preferred
  • Experience in generating and communicating reports for sales and management.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.

Education/Experience Requested:

  • 3-5 years working in a customer service environment with experience in both in-bound and outbound calls directly with customers.
  • Strong cold calling experience.
  • Associates degree or better preferred.

Compensation:

  • Hourly base rate along with incentive programs are offered from time to time based on call volume, securing customer accounts and order processing.

Regional Account Manager

Vesco Medical has an immediate need for two professionals to represent our company as Regional Account Managers in the Northeast and Midwest to market and sell medical devices to national accounts.  We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starting individuals with strong relationships across the medical industry primarily with GPO, distributor, biller and large provider groups.  These high caliber individuals will be responsible for developing the national accounts territory plan, prospecting new business and meeting or exceeding sales and margin targets for the company’s line of tube feeding products.  Sales growth targets are reasonable and the bonus structure will be set up for success with huge upside and minimal downside.  Vesco will hire candidates with the best skill set for the job and will train on product features, benefits and category background.  This is an ideal opportunity for a highly motivated, energetic and experienced individuals to join and help shape a growing organization. 

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5  years of sales experience with increasing responsibility in medical devices or related health care experience
  • Proven track record of developing sales territories, exceeding sales targets and fostering relationships with buyers, contracting and end-user accounts

Program Manager

Vesco Medical has an immediate need for an experienced engineering professional to manage multiple technical projects for medical device products. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starting individual with proven track record in managing complex projects.  The candidate will manage the Vesco projects through the Medical design controls process in tight timeframes.  This will involve managing the tasks of component sourcing, quality assurance, engineering, biocompatibility, performance testing and usability/human factor testing.   This high caliber individual will be responsible for developing and managing multiple project plans, coordinating with marketing, manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, regulatory, other external resource and key stakeholders.  This individual will be responsible for identifying resource needs and engaging with business partners to determine the best solutions for the technology.  Vesco will hire candidates with the best skill set for the job and will train on specific product features, benefits and category background.  This is an ideal opportunity for a highly motivated, energetic and experienced individual to join and help shape a growing organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for multiple product launch initiatives
  • Maintain and keep project plans, schedules, and budgets up-to-date on a weekly basis
  • Report to management on the current project status on a weekly basis
  • Maintain Design History File for the project and ensure that all deliverables for each Design Control phase are released or accounted for prior to project completion
  • Secure Design Control phase sign-offs at appropriate points in the project timeline
  • Escalate critical issues and/or  schedule slips to management in a timely manner so that remediation(s) can be discussed and decided upon swiftly
  • Maintain mechanisms to ensure continual communication to all members of the project team so that each member is informed with the latest information
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 10  years of medical device or related health care experience as an engineering project or program manager with a proven track record for keeping projects on time and within budget
  • Experience working with thermo plastics and thermoset materials  ABS, PVC, Polypropylene and Silicone strongly preferred
  • Experience and understanding of current ISO standards, US FDA and European CE Mark medical device regulations and registration activities
  • Experience managing multiple projects with aggressive timelines
  • Project management of products that had to be developed under the auspices of a quality system (ISO 9001, ISO 13485).  Direct experience managing medical device products (i.e., ISO 13485) desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (word, excel, power point) and Microsoft Projects or related project management software
  • Demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all customer and company interactions
  • Excellent communication and team building skills

Education Requirements:  Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.  Advanced degree or PMP certification a plus

Inside Sales Representative

Vesco Medical is looking for Inside Sales Representatives to represent our company. Inside Sales Representatives will be on the front-line with customers making outbound calls to introduce our company and products, answering questions, problem solving and working with our sales team to schedule customer visits.  Inside Sales Representatives will be responsible for creating and updating accounts within Salesforce.com, and ensuring all account information is verified and approved before orders are shipped.  Inside Sales Representatives will receive and process sample requests along with timely follow up with our customers to develop long standing relationships with customers and our company.  At Vesco Medical, we encourage our employees to make recommendations and execute solutions to ensure the customer is satisfied with the experience and the contact with our company.
