Business Development Representative

Summary

Vesco Medical is looking for entry level professionals to represent our company in our Customer Care department.  The candidate will be on the front-line with customers making outbound calls to introduce our company and products, answering questions, problem solving and working with our sales team to schedule customer visits.  Business Development Representatives will be responsible for setting up accounts within our system and ensuring all account information is verified and approved before orders are shipped.  Business Development Representatives will receive and process orders, inquiries and sample requests.  We encourage our employees to make recommendations and execute solutions to ensure the customer is satisfied with the experience and the contact with our company.

  • Effectively manage both inbound and outbound customer communications.

  • Lead generation through outbound calls introducing potential customers to the new medical device company and their products.

  • Appropriately represent our company and embody the core values of the company with each and every warm, friendly informative and purposeful customer interaction.

  • Ensure registration for new accounts are complete and ready for order processing within 3 business days.

  • Place orders accurately, timely and appropriately.

  • Respond to inquiries for customer orders, product inquiries or availability same day or no later than next business day.

  • Interface with and support company sales representatives.

  • Answer questions of products and provide product data per requests.

  • Support marketing and sales initiatives and programs.

  • Process any complaint handling and notification to management of said issue.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a customer service environment conducting in-bound and outbound calls directly with customers.

  • Professional telephone and communication skills with demonstrated ability to speak clearly, decisively and accurately. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong track record of outbound calling or prospecting.

  • Experience working in a busy team environment with multi-tasking requirements on multiple software systems.

  • Experience entering customer orders into a business software system.

  • Proficient with traditional business software including Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point), SalesForce.com and QuickBooks are strongly desired.

Education Requirements:

  • Associates degree or better preferred.
